|Descriptions:||➤ Assist and support the Sous Chef in the preparation of different foods.➤ Ensure that food sanitation, safety and food handling functions are practiced in their areas on a daily basis.➤ Must read and execute daily prep lists.
➤ Communicate well with the team and supervision to ensure everyone is informed properly.
➤ Maintain quality and proper presentation of food to meet and exceed departmental standards.
➤ Assist other junior kitchen staff in ensuring that the kitchen is clean at all times.
➤ Assist junior staff in daily mice en place, hygiene and sanitations standard. Must ensure is compliance with the sections standard.
➤ Keep supervision on junior staff on a timely basis of any undue variance from expected results.
➤ Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
➤ Must have the ability to be productive for long periods of time.
|Requirements:||➤ Minimum vocational School Certificate is required. Two – Three year working experience required➤ Must present a well-groomed appearance. Basic knife skills are essential.➤ Basic culinary skills and food knowledge’s is required.
➤ Basic knowledgeable of the production and execution of the local cuisine.
➤ Must be able to work any shift and long hours when necessary.Must have the ability to follow recipes.
